I'm Daniel Phang, a software engineer based in Seattle, WA. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

My interests span a wide range of problems — from protecting user Trust & Safety at Airbnb, to solving system quality challenges like testing, reliability, and performance, to simply creating delightful products that people enjoy using.

Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, pickleball, and tennis.
